Need help shifting your classroom practice to leverage Web 2.0 tools as a powerful learning strategy? This 5 week series of workshops can help you do it.  In these workshops you will investigate:

These workshops are designed to help faculty and staff members create an online presence and create a transparent classroom so that the District, Administrators, Parents and Students can see what is happening in all classes. 

The teachers will 
  • post to the school's blog site
  • create a personal blog
  • create a class blog
  • share a lesson on the school wiki
  • create a class wiki
  • create a Twitter account
  • create an online bookmarking site
  • create an online presentation using Google docs
  • develop an online form using Google docs

Why is it needed?
  • extending our learning is the only way to stay current
  • becoming globally aware because the classroom is no longer contained by four walls
  • sharing our own best practices
  • experiencing the power of 21st century learning
